Beauty Talk Salon & Spa – Client Policy

Your satisfaction, safety, and experience are our top priorities. By booking or receiving services, you agree to our policies, which are designed to ensure fairness, transparency, and professional service.

Service Satisfaction, Redo & Refund Policy

Redo Requests:

  • Non-color services: report concerns within 24 hours.

  • Chemical/color services (highlights, balayage, color corrections): report within 48 hours.

  • Requests must align with the original consultation.

  • Redos are performed by the original stylist when possible.

Refunds:

  • Considered only after a redo service (unless prohibited by law).

  • Partial or full refunds may be granted at the salon’s discretion.

  • Refunds are not issued if:

    • Deadlines are missed

    • Redo is declined

    • Outside corrective services are performed before salon review

    • Dissatisfaction is a personal preference

Exclusions:

  • Promotional, discounted, or model services, gift cards, redeemed Groupons, opened products, and missed appointments are non-refundable.

Detangling Policy

  • Hair must be loose and free of protective styles at arrival.

  • Excessive tangling requires detangling services before your appointment.

  • Fees: $50 for the first hour, $25 each additional hour.

  • Detangling time and fees are separate from your booked service.

  • Major detangling may require rescheduling or service modification.

Early & Late Appointment Policy

Before & After Hours:

  • $50 fee plus $25/hour for early or late appointments outside normal hours.

  • Must be pre-approved and subject to staff availability.

  • Fees are non-refundable.

Late Arrivals:

  • 10 minutes late: $20 fee

  • 15+ minutes late: service may be canceled; deposit may be forfeited

Deposits, Cancellations & No-Shows

  • Non-refundable deposits required for major services (lashes, braids, chemical treatments, facials, waxing).

  • 24-hour notice required for cancellations or reschedules.

  • Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) incur 50% of service.

  • No-shows are charged full service amount; future appointments require prepayment.

Emergencies: Considered case-by-case at management discretion.

Cash Deposits & Card on File

  • Cash deposits accepted in-person; card must remain on file for security.

  • Non-refundable, but transferable once with 24-hour notice.

  • Failure to maintain an active card or repeated no-shows may result in refusal of future bookings.

  • Waiver signature required when card is on file.

Chargeback Policy

  • Filing a chargeback after receiving services or products violates policy.

  • Salon will provide proof of completed service to card issuer.

  • Clients who dispute services may face booking restrictions or collections.

Anti-Discrimination & Safety Policy

  • We proudly serve a diverse community.

  • Discrimination, harassment, or disrespect toward staff or clients will not be tolerated.

  • Management reserves the right to refuse service and permanently ban offending clients.

Groupon Client Policy

Usage Restrictions:

  • One Groupon per service per day, per person.

  • Cannot combine Groupons or redeem the same service within 30 days.

Booking & Appointments:

  • Must disclose Groupon at booking.

  • Appointments subject to availability; same-day service not guaranteed.

Service & Stylist:

  • Groupon covers the listed service only; add-ons, upgrades, taxes, and gratuity are extra.

  • Services may be performed by junior staff; senior stylist upgrade: $15.

Late, Cancellation & Rescheduling:

  • $20 late fee; $35 last-minute cancellation fee.

  • Multiple reschedules may require $25 non-refundable deposit.

Redemption:

  • Present Groupon before service (digital or print).

  • Non-compliance may result in service refusal or ban.
